Аннотация:

Данная статья Рода Уотсона (пер. с англ. А. Корбута) посвящена вкладу, который может внести этнометодология в социологическое понимание практик создания и чтения различного рода текстов в повседневных, рутинных обстоятельствах. Во-первых, в ней делаются наглядными обыденные, само собой разумеющиеся тексты, включенные в повседневную жизнь, и иллюстрируется, как эти тексты встроены в локальные, ситуативные контексты и формы действия. В таком случае аналитик (вслед за неспециалистами) перестает видеть в тексте либо а) прозрачный, непроблематичный проводник в мир объективно существующих предметов, располагающихся по ту сторону текста, либо б) нечто, соприкасающееся с миром объективно существующих предметов, просто «прикрепленное» к ним. Во-вторых, в статье текст рассматривается как элемент эволюционирующего производства — производства, практики которого обладают собственной «естественной историей» и обнаруживают свойства, которые обозначаются условным термином «активные». В-третьих, в статье подчеркивается, что тексты «активируются» или «оживляются» посредством практик чтения в конкретных локальных обстоятельствах. Любой аспект активируемого текста обычно оказывается «погребенным» под слоем само собой разумеющегося и поэтому должен быть «откопан». Для того чтобы временно поместить в поле зрения тот или иной аспект текстов, сделать его доступным аналитическому изучению, предлагается использовать термин «(данный)-текст-как-он-читается». Благодаря этим трем результатам данной статьи показывается, что этнометодологический подход к обыденным профессиональным и непрофессиональным текстуальным практикам позволяет социологам изучать то, каким образом члены общества локально используют культурные ресурсы и знания для придания смысла ситуативно производимым и используемым текстам.
