Аннотация

The goal of the article is to determine the factors that cause changes in the attitude of the youth toward migrants based on the regular monitoring results. It deals with the socio-cultural consequences of modern migration processes and their influence on the modern communicative space as well as on the youth value system and priorities. A ten-year social survey shows that the youth value system is volatile and dependent on both external and internal factors. The expansion of anti-migrant attitudes of young people and their attitude toward representatives of dominant ethnic groups are linked together. Two problems that influence the cross-cultural interaction of the titular nations and migrants are discussed and explained, specificlly: adaptation of migrants to the culture and livng conditions of the dominant ethnic groups and formation of tolerance of indigenous inhabitants to refugees. The article sustantiates socio-territorial, cultural and factorial and cultural-communicative approaches which help determine the role of cultural patterns in the maintenance or destruction of the traditional communicative space, in the formation of the youth value system as well as in enhancing the motivation of young people to secure continuity of historical and cultural traditions, particularly, those of the Russian civilization. The conducted research reveals the socio-cultural consequences of the migration processes.
