Summary: The article presents a review of the lifeworld researches and an established usage conceptualization and operationalization of this concept in contemporary sociology. The analysis of modern applied studies allows us to distinguish the socio-phenomenological and socio-critical directions in lifeworld researches.

Summary: The study examines communicative strategies of interviewers with high performance in the telephone survey made by the Centre for Federative Research Methodology (RANEPA) in April, 2013. In the triad of communicative act comprised of linguistic, speech and conversational acts, the authors describe seven speech techniques: framing of informed consent, answer repair, straying away from formalization, empathy, reasonable filling of pauses, explanation of questions, correct ending of interview. Special attention is paid to the paradata of the telephone interview, as it is an essential part of any research. Moreover, four maxims of a high-quality structured interview are articulated: bibasic formalization, communicative priority, conversation integrity, total registration.

Summary: The paper presents the results of Russian rural population hierarchy by scales named «wealth», «authority» and «prestige» within 1994–2010. The consistency degree of these three status is considered. As well the essential status mismatch is revealed. Also the article analyzed influence of socially-demographic and socially-professional characteristics of individuals on status crystallization. Interrelations of status crystallization and state of rural population social health were described.

Summary: The age self-identification of elderly persons is considered in the article from the viewpoint of conditioning factors as well as its consequences. It is shown that the psychological feeling of age is an independent variable and is only to some extent defined by objective social and demographic characteristics, educational level of the respondent first of all, and his real age and financial position to a lesser extent. Age self-identification makes an essential contribution to the organization of life and attitudes of `aging person. The research argues soundly that active eventful life in elderly age is not western social phenomenon only, but also the Russian one.

Summary: The thesis touches upon the issue of first persons of the state authorities influence to the processes of Russian socium generation dynamics forming. It is demonstrated that in post-monarchy period in Russia there was an alternation of fulfilled generations relating to the groups of supreme dignitaries with demographic emptiness noting the place of frustrated generations. Thereby in the period after 1917 the chance to create his own mass generation and realize corresponding creativity of Russian socium belonged only to one of each pair of potential groups of supreme dignities. This characteristic of Russian generation dynamics is indicative of extreme inefficiency of Russian political system.

Summary: This paper analyzes the influence of communication structures on knowledge dynamics. Communication networks theory and methodology are combined with author’s perspective on knowledge, based on autopoiesis theory. Key concepts of network approach are contextualized according to the focus of the paper. We analyze the influence of certain structural factors in communication networks on knowledge fields emergence and development. Relational dynamics and co-evolution of cohesive subgroups in communication networks are analysed as the factors of knowledge transformations in the process of structural coupling between operationally closed distributed cognition systems.
