Аннотация:

Статья посвящена анализу канадской историографии участия этой страны во Второй мировой войне. В данной работе рассматриваются основные тенденции и модели освещения и изучения мирового конфликта в контексте вовлеченности в него Канады. В исследовании показана эволюция приоритетов канадских историков, тематическая палитра и специфика анализа воздействия войны на Канаду. Автор приходит к выводу, что практически всеми признается высокая эффективность канадской военной экономики и ее вклада в дело победы, но в вопросе оценки военного участия доминиона наблюдаются достаточно серьезные разногласия.
